Dr B Fontez-Nguyen

Dr Bénédicte Fontez-Nguyen is Senior Lecturer in statistics at Institut Agro Montpellier (formerly Montpellier SupAgro), France.

She followed training for her Agronomy engineering Diploma at Institut Agro Montpellier, and completed her Master of Science in ‘biostatistics’ at the University of Montpellier II.  In 2001 she obtained her PhD in applied mathematics & statistics from the University of Montpellier II. Since 1996 she has been Research fellow in statistics at CIRAD and the University of Montpellier II, following on to be Project Manager in biometry for the Institut de l’Elevage, France, and Senior lecturer in numerical ecology at Provence University, France.  She teaches in Bachelor, engineering and master levels:  Sampling, inferential statistics (estimation and test), Linear, nonlinear and mixed models, Data analysis, Use of R (freeware), Nonparametric statistics, spatial statistics, population models, epidemiology, Bayesian.

Vinifera Teaching: She coordinates the Project Management in Statistics with another lecturer, and teaches on Research Methodology and Statistics.
