Joanna Denis, a distinguished alumna of the Vinifera Master’s program, graduated in 2018. Before joining Vinifera, she completed her Bachelor’s in Plant Selection and Experimentation, complemented by two French BTS degrees in lab and wine making.
Joanna pursued her M2 studies in Asti and Alba at Università Degli Studi Di Udine, Italy, and her master’s thesis, titled “Epidemiological study of downy and powdery mildew resistant varieties of grapes,” showcased her commitment to advancing knowledge in grapevine diseases.
Currently, Joanna thrives in her role as an Wine Consultant and Research and Development Manager at a leading bottling truck company. In this capacity, she provides invaluable guidance to winemakers, particularly in the intricate process of wine preparation before bottling.
Joanna’s success story stands as a testament to the impactful role that the Vinifera program played in shaping her career, providing the necessary skills and knowledge that directly contributed to securing her current position.
