Véronique MARIE-JEANNE

Dr Véronique MARIE-JEANNE is assistant professor at Institut Agro – Montpellier.

She studied cellular biology, genetics and virology at the University of Paris-Sud, France and obtained her MSc (1990) and PhD (1993) in plant virology.

Vinifera Teaching:

Within the viticulture module, Véronique teaches on grapevine viral diseases.

Research interests:

Dr Marie-Jeanne’s research concerns Potyviridae characterization, diagnosis  and study of the viral genetic population (WSSMV).  She has also worked on the phytoplasma pathosystem of European Stone fruit yellows (ESFY).
