Northwest A&F University (NWAFU), founded in 1934, is a key national comprehensive university directly under the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China.
Postgraduate training and research in Grapevine and Wine Sciences and Biotechnology is coordinated by the South African Grape and Wine Research Institute (SAGWRI) at Stellenbosch University.
Georgian Technical University (GTU, formerly Georgian Polytechnical Institute) is the main and largest technical University of Georgia.
The University of Food Technologies (UFT) has a rich history of more than seventy years and remarkable traditions. It is one of the most important centers in Bulgaria in the field of food science and technology, the only one of its kind on the Balkan Peninsula. The University is located in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.

The Instituto Nacional de Tecnología Agropecuaria (National Agricultural Technology Institute), commonly known as INTA, is an Argentine federal institute in charge of the generation, adaptation and diffusion of technologies, knowledge and learning procedures for the agriculture, forest and agro-industrial activities within an ecologically clean environment. It was created in 1956, depends on the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, and Fishing. It has financial and operative autarkic autonomy given by law 25641/02.
The Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (Embrapa) was founded on April 26, 1973, and is under the aegis of the Brazilian Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, and Food Supply.
The Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, located in the province of Mendoza, Argentina, offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in the areas of agriculture, bromatology, natural resources, oenology, olive growing and other agricultural areas. Renewed Partnership Between EMaVE Consortium and Oregon State University

Following the successful visit of the EMaVE consortium to the USA in July 2024, the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Oregon State University (OSU) has been renewed for another 4 years.

Originally established in September 2020, this collaboration between OSU’s College of Agricultural Sciences and the EMaVE consortium has been pivotal in fostering student mobility. Each year, two students from the U.S. will have the unique opportunity to join the Vinifera EuroMaster programme for one semester as part of their studies at OSU. Simultaneously, two second-year Vinifera students will conduct their master’s thesis in viticulture or wine sciences in one of OSU’s esteemed research labs in Corvallis, Oregon.

Vinifera strengthens its partnership in South Africa

The Erasmus+ Agency has officially recognised with high relevance the creation of the consortium of four partners:

  • Montpellier SupAgro School (IHEV),
  • University of Montpellier (Faculty of Pharmacy),
  • INRAE (experimental unit of Pech Rouge)
  • Lallemand company

Our project is to create a sustainable space of cooperation between French and South African higher education and research institutions in the field of vine and wine sciences.
