Prof. Vittorino Novello is full Professor at the University of Turin, teaching Viticulture modules at Bachelor (Viticulture and Enology) and Master (Viticulture and Enology Sciences) level.
He graduated in Agricultural Sciences at the University of Padova and specialized in Viticulture and Enology at the University of Turin.
Vinifera teaching: He teaches Basic Viticulture and on Table Grapes.

International involvement: Prof Novello is member of the Italian delegation at the OIV and President of the Viticulture Commission of OIV (International Organization of Vine and Wine). In addition, he serves as President of the EMaVE Consortium (European Master of Viticulture and Enology) and is one of the vice-presidents of GiESCO.
He is a member of the International Society for Horticultural Science, American Society for Enology and Viticulture, South African Society for Enology and Viticulture and the Australian Society of Viticultural and Oenology.
