Joanna Denis, a distinguished alumna of the Vinifera Master’s program, graduated in 2018. Before joining Vinifera, she completed her Bachelor’s in Plant Selection and Experimentation, complemented by two French BTS degrees in lab and wine making.

Jonas Tofterup MW’s journey in the wine industry began with a Bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Technology, complemented by achieving WSET Level 3 in Wines & Spirits. Before joining the Vinifera program, Jonas gained valuable practical experience through three internships at wineries during harvest and spent a year working for the largest wine bottling facility in Denmark.

Before joining the Vinifera program, Jean-Paul Trijsburg studied Agronomy in the Netherlands. However, it was while working in Burgundy and Bordeaux that he fell in love with winemaking. Aneliya Pavlova completed her Bachelor studies in Plant Protection from the Agricultural University of Plovdiv, Bulgaria, and a post-graduate specialization in Integrated Pest Management in Italy.

Erika Mangili André, a seasoned Agronomist, holds a Master’s Degree in Soil Science and Plant Nutrition and a Ph.D. in Plant Production. She has been a key contributor to the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock in Brazil since 2004. Her diverse roles have included oversight of wine production inspections in Brazil.

Currently, Erica serves as the Head of R&D at Agrolaguna in Istria, Croatia, with a continued commitment to advancing knowledge and innovation in the field.

Akshay Baboo, an esteemed alumnus of the Vinifera Master’s program, brought a wealth of experience from working in vineyards and wineries prior to joining the program. Armed with a BSc Hons in chemistry, zoology, and botany, Akshay’s diverse background laid a solid foundation for his viticultural journey.

Marc Boldú Rius pursued a degree in Enology at Tarragona University, with a background deeply rooted in family vineyard practices, before joining Vinifera.

Meinard Jan Bloem, an agronomist specializing in viticulture and enology, received his training in Chile before joining the Vinifera program.
