Elie Maamari, Export Manager at CHATEAU KSARA
Elie studied Enology at Toulouse where he obtained the DNO.
He choosed to specialise in Business after 11 years as a winemaker.
He is now Sales and Export Director for Chateau Ksara in Beqaa valley (Libanon). As export specialist, he possesses in-depth knowledge of markets in 5 continents.
He is International wine Juror in prestigious wine competition like Vinalies International, Mundus Vini, Sélections Mondiales des vins in Montréal…
He is also Chevalier de l’ordre du Mérite Agricole from the French Ministry of Agriculture and Elected member at the “Académie du vin” based in
Geneva representing Lebanon at this academy.
Vinifera Teaching: He teaches on export strategy in the module on Economics for the Wine Industry.
